Preston Miller is a consultant at an internationally recognized risk management firm. Preston holds an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and a master’s degree in Digital Forensics at Marshall University. While at Marshall, Preston received the prestigious J. Edgar Hoover Foundation’s Scientific Scholarship in recognition of academic achievements.

Shortly after graduating, Preston began working on Learning Python for Forensics which was published by Packt Publishing. Preston has previously published his research on Bitcoin through Syngress. Preston is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board and, in his free time, enjoys working on open-source Python projects and black-box forensic scenarios.

A Texas native, Preston now resides in New Jersey with his wife Stephanie.
